Decision support, not determination
HazMind is a digitized reference guide. It organizes publicly known hazard-characterization steps into a guided sequence — nothing more. It cannot see, test, or verify your sample. Every output depends entirely on the observations you enter and on reference content that is still being reviewed.
Test mode
The Service is in test mode. Its content and logic are under active correction and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Do not treat any result as authoritative. If something looks wrong, we want to know: feedback@hazmind.com.
Not professional or regulatory advice
Nothing in the Service is professional, legal, regulatory, or safety advice. HazMind does not replace:
- Your hazmat training and your organization's standard operating procedures
- Safety data sheets and manufacturer documentation
- Laboratory analysis by qualified personnel
- Applicable regulations, including EPA RCRA requirements (40 CFR Part 261) and state or local rules
- Emergency services — in an emergency, stop and call your local emergency number
Your responsibility
Handling unknown or hazardous materials is inherently dangerous. You assume all risk and full responsibility for actions taken while using the Service. Always independently verify any classification before acting on it, and defer to qualified professionals whenever there is doubt.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage of any kind arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service.
